Title: Detroit Mercy's Community of Poetry 

Description: A National Poetry Month celebration of the University of Detroit Mercy's longstanding and unique community of poetry writers, readers, performers, listeners, and publishers.

Dudley Randall Poetry Prize 2022 Winners

Dudley Randall Poetry Prize-winning poems include The Crown Jewel by Mehar Soni (1st), A Monologue in a Drive-thru by Jeremy St. Martin (2nd), and What They Don't Tell You About Suicide by Aly Porcerelli. 

[sic] and Howling Wolf

[sic], the University of Detroit Mercy's student arts journal, and Howling Wolf chapbook series, showcase student poetry. 

Faculty and Alumni Poetry

Work from Jill Darling, Cal Freeman, Stacy Gnall, Michael Lauchlan, Deonte Osayande, and Amy Thomas, as well as from the Poetry blog, "A Work Day in Hard Times," of John Staudenmaier, SJ.
