A C MAssociation for Computing Machinery The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) is a scientific computing society that advances computing as a science and a profession.  It published journals and conference proceedings, hosts interest groups, holds conferences, and provides independent, nonpartisan research to the public.


\A I T PAssociation of Information Technology Professionals (AITP) is a professional association of business professionals who are interested in and use information technology.  It hosts events, training and forums and is mostly run from independent chapters.


A S I S and TAssociation for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T) is a professional association that integrates information science practice and research.  It provides information on academic programs, job postings, conferences, meetings, summits, and publications incuding journals, newsletters and proceedings.


comp T I AComputing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) is a global association of information technology professionals and industry members. It offers training, certifications, market research, webinars and podcasts on IT trends, professional communities, and information on IT careers and the process of switching from another career to IT.

I E E E IEEE is an international technical professional organization.  It publishes many peer review journals, conference proceedings and technical standards.  It has many regional chapters, interest groups, and student chapters and sponsors more than 2,000 conferences.


I S A C A Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) is a membership organization of Information Systems/IT professionals who are in pursuit of digital trust. It provides cybersecurity and IT audit training and certification, framework, guides, conferences governance, risk and control, student membership and job postings.


I S C Squared(ISC)² is an international, nonprofit membership association for information security leaders. It provides training, certifications, security briefings, industry news and member communities.
